Frozen water condition challenges for dock system, generally, and stationary docking structures are often destroyed during winter in ice conditions. Durable modules, however, help to solve issues by icy weather area by property of material with brittleness temperature of -76°C(-104.8°F), which enables system to be installed and utilized in cold region without damage.
Most cold climate customers leave their modular on ice for the whole winter.
Without tear or bang it up by external reason, the system is perfectly fine.
Design, rigidity and unique assemble structure of modular hold them together up quite well in Typhoon or Hurricanes.
The main issue of marine structures under storm is that they are securely tied with fixed object and confront huge consecutively coming wave energy.
Marinefloor modular, can absorb, disperse and transfer energy through every unit of entire combined elements, which enables system endure harsh water.
Also, at imminent storm, user can untie system easily and evacuate them temporarily, during storm.

Products are manufactured by non-toxic, recyclable materials. Its environmental friendly properties could be a ultimate solution for replacement of widely being used water pollution related materials such as metal, concrete or FRP etc.
Modular block and components are made of permanent and stable materials which will not cause any pollution from corrosion or dilapidation by itself.
Anti-foul paint, that excretes paint toxins, is also not needed to use on vessels and marine structures when Marinefloor system applied.
Unlike permanent marine constructions, this system will not leave any debris behind when dismantled or moved.
Anti-UV treatment on products makes it safe to use even in southern hemisphere where lack of ozone.
WaveFence® is made by non-toxic, recyclable materials, which could be a ultimate solution for replacement of widely being used water pollution related materials such as metal, concrete or FRP etc., which easily found among fixed construction that excrete pollutants on water.
WaveFence® is made of permanent and stable materials which will not cause any pollution from corrosion or dilapidation by itself.
With located 0.5-0.6m above sea level, system may be a safely guide in operating vessels.
Unlike permanent constructions, WaveFence® will not leave any debris behind when dismantled or moved.
Anti-UV treatment makes it safe to use even in southern hemisphere where lack of ozone.
From its beginning, we put the most priority on environmental considerations when engineering any of products in our line.
PE, stainless steel/galvanized steel or any other materials for parts are chosen as environmental friendly as possible.
Materials for modular components meet the following environmental safety regulations :
-Manufactured by D5502 high density polyethylene UV-stabilized resins which offer a balance of toughness, superior rigidity, environmental stress resistance, and wide range of temperature performance.
-Resin is adequate substance on the food contact specifications of FDA regulations (21 CFR #177.1520).
-The components of additives also adequate substance on the food holding specifications of FDA regulations (21 CFR #178.2010).
-Suitable for processing by any approved waste disposal facility.*
-Not listed by the EPA as a hazardous waste, nor is it formulated to contain materials, which are listed hazardous wastes with as determined by the Toxicity Characteristic
WaveFence® was developed to utilize energy dispersion technology to protect ports, marina facilities, beach or any places where marine energy hassles on existing natural environment or man-made structure.
Climatic and other environmental factors also can lead to repetitive maintenance
Surface and subsurface barriers are subject to constant forces from wind, waves, currents and possibly ice and ice flows which also may
intercept and possibly become entangled in floating debris such as that resulting from upstream floods.
Debris accumulations can add additional stress to barrier components
Barriers usually consist of a line of individual floating elements connected by cables or other devices
These connections are subject to continuous movement, possibly resulting in fatigue damage and failure of the connections
Basic In-Service Inspections.
- Annual Regular Inspections

- How does this floating system against storms?
Its modular design and superior rigidity hold up quite well in harsh storms but also quite easy to evacuate if unbearable circumstances.
Many customers are reporting excellent results for the docks that were hit by hurricanes or typhoons.
Dock is securely attached to solid pilings and given plenty of line to be able to absorb the wave energy, thus, no damage was sustained to the dock.
- Can I assemble system by myself?
Yes, actually, most of our customers install docks by themselves.
Your dock will arrive partially assembled or separate components but 2 people can easily do the final assembly and have it in the water immediately.
- What is delivery method?
We, or our partner, ship materials to either a container port or directly to place you want to install.
The core components, sometimes, will be assembled together by sections for your easier finish.
- Will the SLIDER hurt my boat hull?
As a surface material, HDPE is softer than gel coat and fiberglass of your boat.
The Dock will affect your hull about the same as using a trailer or other boat lift.
- Can it be used in heavy waves?
Our modular docking system will dissipate and absorb wave energy every 50cm(19 inches) and roll with the waves.
For heavy waves that doesn’t need evacuate dock, it is necessary to ensure that all components and connections are tight and secure.
- Can Marine biology hurt the dock?
Barnacles and other marine biology give effect on all of floating objects on water.
On our system, marine biology will grow about 1/2 to 1 inch and then slough off and start again.
However, this will not impact the overall buoyancy of the dock in any way, shape or form.
As virtually maintenance free dock, cleaning the dock's bottom is simply an extra job that you do not have to worry about.
- What is buoyancy of each modular component?
Simply say, each modular will hold over 90kg(200 lbs).
In case of dry dock purpose, simple calculations enable to figure out optimum dimension of dock to lift your boat on dock.
Modular is air filled compartment with wall thickness of 6-7mm.
- System should be registered as a boat or barge?
Yes or No, by local regulations and requirements.
Is there any heavy duty version for commercial application?
Our normal modular combination system is heavy duty already.
- Can I use this in marina?
We have many customers who use our system in a marina to protect their boats and keep them clean and many marinas prefer this system too.
- Water flow under the system?
By specially designed bottom structure - water channel, it makes water to pass under the dock.
This enables debris to get caught up alongside the dock.
- Is material UV treated?
Yes, of cause, by applying high grade anti-UV composite, components ensure maximum stability in its properties against various natural circumstances.
- How about on ice in winter time?
The dock can be left in all year in salt water or fresh water where icing happens because elastic material(PE) allows system left in the ice for the winter.
- Can it be towed on water?
Yes, systems can easily be moved to another location by towing with any water vehicle.
- Is dock surface slippery?
Non-skid surface treatment provides maximum safety to walk on even when it is wet.
